Billy and Mira were delighted that all of their children were growing older and now they finally had more time to spend with each other. The lovebirds were not shy about expressing their affection all over the house in front of the girls and their friends. Needless to say the teens were not thrilled about it.
Bella was still determined to climb up the ranks in the local chess ring, no matter how many times she lost to Marisol – who turned out to be a much bigger competitor than originally anticipated. But she didn’t back down, and three matches later Bella finally won.
Abby, on the other hand, was content dancing around in her pajamas most of the time when she wasn’t working on writing a sequel to “The Five Headed Beastie,” which actually fetched her a fair amount of money. It was no bestseller though, and Abby hoped that “Beastie Returns” would bring in a hit.
Being the couch potato that she is, Emma spent most of her free time watching the history channel or sleeping.
She did enjoy stargazing though, and had discovered a couple new constellations during her search of the galaxy. This interest sparked a desire to become an Astronaut. Being as lazy as she is though, the athleticism required for such a profession might prove to be quite the challenge.
On the day of Billy’s birthday, he came to the decision that a little bit of a makeover was in order. He traded in the combed back look for more of a messy ‘do in hopes that the older women in his audience would find the dishevled look more appealing.
Mira seems a little too excited about Billy’s birthday, but maybe she’s more into older men than she ever let on.
“Hey! Not too bad,” Billy exclaimed after examining himself. The clothes weren’t really his style, but that was an easy fix. He thought he was going to enjoy being an elder – he could relax all day and paint and be innapropriate without anyone giving him a hard time about it anymore.
As soon as Billy found some new threads, Mira made a point to show him exactly how attractive she thought he still was. She also didn’t fail to warn him if he let any of those fans of his get a little too close, she would kill him before Death even got the chance.
Lookin’ good and feelin’ groovy, Billy headed into town to strum his favorite guitar with his worn out fingers. He mainly just wanted to see if becoming an old man had made him any less likable in the music scene.
Of couse, he was still as popular as ever, and Billy soon became overwhelmed at the size of the group that crowded around to get a glimpse of the great Billy Shaw in action.
The fun couldn’t last too long, though – it was time to get home and watch his twin girls age into beautiful young women.
Wilson Lothario, the kid that was obsessed with Bella, turned into a fairly attractive young man, though it’s hard to tell through the facial expressions he chooses to make from time to time. He showed up to the party in the hopes that Bella might show some interst in him now.
Also in attendance was Abby’s long-time crush, Michel Newell and Yuri’s snob of a son, Dimitri. Once he learned of Abby’s writing ability, he offered her the chance to make good money if she wrote a Biography on him.
Abby didn’t really know how interesting it would be, but she needed the money and gladly agreed to fork one over as soon as she could.
Impatient to get this over with and get back to Michel, Abby hastily blew out her candles and braced herself for adulthood.
After a quick change and a brush of her hair, Abby made her way back to her corner with Michel. “It’s finally time for that kiss I’ve been waiting for,” she thought excitedly to herself as she prepared herself for the best moment of her life thus far.
In that moment, Michel grasped her hands tightly in his.
“I had a great night, this was a really fantastic party,” Michel told her.
“It was, wasn’t it?” Abby replied impatiently.
“I should probably get going though. I’ve got an early morning and the kid I babysit has this wretched mother that complains if I’m five minutes late.”
“Oh – ” Michel gave Abby a quick hug and was out the door before she could even finish her thought.
Not really in the mood for a the rest of the party, Abby hid out in her room for the rest of the night.
Bella, tired and a little annoyed at all of the attention being given to her sister, spun into adulthood without much fuss.
She did spend a little time chatting with Dimitri and Wilson, but was too worn out to put in much effort and soon headed to bed herself.
Little does she know what lies waiting for her.. as heir to the Shaw throne.
Oh, I kind of feel sorry for Abby. All she wants is Michel and he keeps leaving or ignoring her.
What did Bella turn out like?
Ugh I know. I can 100% honestly tell you that none of it was intended, either. I was so rooting for her to get that first kiss at her birthday party. They got so close, even had the option, and then he just, took off.
Even Sim guys don’t know how to handle women
Perhaps Michael is gay, and his teenage years of complimenting and “drooling” over Abby’s body and female-ness were just immature cover-ups for this.
Especially now that she’s a young adult, he’s a young adult, and he has every opportunity to jump into a relationship that Abby obviously wants, and he previously expressed interest in.
Yeah. My guess is he has finally come to terms with that crush he had on the Gym teacher in High School. XD
